Position Overview
This role is responsible in providing front-line care and medical assistance to sick and/or injured employees onsite to help ensure healthy work environment. Maintaining a record of employee’s medical condition and health hazards including collection and storage of health supporting documents while equally giving importance to data privacy and security. This role demonstrates customer service orientation and knowledge of BOSH processes and related systems to perform responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
Provide Medical Assistance and Research
Attend and provide proper first aid measures to sick or injured employees onsiteIdentify common reported illnesses and health hazards to learn appropriate methods to address themProvide Assistance in Implementing Health-Related Programs of Human Resources Department
Works with HMO Coordinator or HMO vendor for health activitiesGathers health & safety details & initiate programs/activities for learning awareness sessions or preventive sessionsEnsure company is adhering to the government’s Occupational Safety and Health provisionsHandle and implement OSH projectsAssists in the HMO card distribution or claiming of Philheath certificationsCoordinate with HR regarding trends, research on common reported illness and other health related issues and creates report that is important for executivesRecord-Keeping and Maintenance
Record employees’ names and medical requests for auditing and research purposesConducts validation of medical certificate or fit to work certifications including home visits for sick employee as neededdocument medicines and equipment purchased or needed to be purchased Update and maintain an inventory of medicines and equipmentKeep the Clinic’s bulletin board updatedRequirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing / Registered Nurse (BOSH certified)
• At least 1 year of experience as a nurse in a hospital
• Experience in a call centre as company nurse is preferred
• Excellent administrative and organization skills with strong attention to details
• Established work ethics anchored on integrity, accuracy and quality • Advanced skills in the use of MS Excel, creation of common HR Reports and ability to provide insights/analysis
• With 1-2 years experience/exposure in handling occupational clinic
