The E-Commerce Merchandising Supervisor is responsible for providing support to the performance of the e-commerce merchandising function of the organization.
Sets and manages financial targets by department and categoryCreates reports of the business, develops financial plans and monitors sales performance, inventory, markdowns and profit by classification from a top-line to store level Works closely with the buying team to analyze seasonal merchandise assortments and execute merchandising strategies Provides regular and ad hoc analysis based on Return on Sales, densities as well as sales, cover and present these findings to senior management Initiates and creates analysis to recap business by classification and style at a top-line as well as store level in order to partner with buying team to create actionable strategies to drive sales and achieve gross margin profitabilityRecommends buys based on thorough analysis of retail business prior to each market to achieve increased sales, profitability and sell-through % Assists in creating seasonal, monthly and weekly plans for sales, inventory, markdowns and gross margin. Partner with Retail team to develop financial strategies and monitor performance in order to achieve plansWorks with buying team and stores to analyze business by door to maximize sales and stock opportunities. Monitor flow of initial assortments as well as reorders to stores by classification and by styleRecaps key item rankings by classification, style, color and size. Create best seller reports on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis Produces and analyzes weekly reports recapping sales, inventory and gross margin vs. plan and projection by classification, style and doorDevelops strong exit strategies for old stock
