Summary
Enrique O. Olonan and Associates is looking for a document Controller to provide clerical and administrative support at the construction site. The document Controller will be responsible for maintaining project documents to ensure accurate information is distributed throughout the Construction Project Team and the Company. Applicants should be willing to be oriented and trained in Quezon City and relocated to Iloilo, Western Visayas.
Responsibilities
Core Responsibilities:
Effectively prepare, manage and file project documents on-site such as plans, specifications, Request for Information (RFI), Request for Approval (RFA), Construction Bulletins, Minutes of Meeting, memorandums, notices, correspondences and other pertinent files related to the projectEnsure all team members have access to necessary documentation and accurate information is distributed throughout the Construction Project Team and the CompanyDay-to-day functions of the role:
Control the proper flow of documents at the site, keeping track of the incoming and outgoing of files from and to the project siteBe familiar with all clients, team members and consultants involved in the project for proper communication and coordinationSort, store and retrieve electronic and hardcopy of documentsOrganize transmittal/delivery and pickup of documents from and to the consultantsFacilitate the request and maintenance of all administrative requirements of the site officePerform data entry when project documents need updatesMaintain an updated log and regular report of the following:Request for Information (RFI)Request for Approval (RFA)Construction BulletinsInspection ReportsManage other pertinent construction documentsReport daily attendance and facilitate submittal of employee timesheets for payroll processingPerform other tasks that may be assigned from time to timeRequirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
At least five (5) years of experience being a document Controller for construction projects or other related positionsA Bachelor’s Degree in any related fieldKnowledge about the whole construction process, especially the construction of buildings, is an advantageExperience in government building projects is an advantageExcellent verbal and written communication skillsCollaborative skills, resourcefulness, resilience, initiative, and positive attitude towards work and colleaguesWilling to relocate to Iloilo, Western VisayasRewards:
