We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Vice President HSS Service Delivery

To manage and direct the operational teams under Service Delivery, namely Depository Settlements, Cash and Queries, to ensure maximum operational efficiency and adherence to service standards whilst minimising the risks associated with operations, thereby ensuring maximum profitability and attainment of operating and strategic objectives.

Responsible for the ongoing review of operational and regulatory risks inherent in operations and implementation of procedures to close or mitigate these risks. Supports Senior Vice President Service Delivery in identifying and developing service improvements. Deputizes for SVP Service Delivery in his/ her absence.

In this role, you will:

Contributes towards maintaining/increasing the Bank's market share through seamless operations and provide support to business development and client servicing teams.·Maintain HSBC control standards including the timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulatorsManage operational risk, including its identification, assessment, mitigation and control, loss identification and reportingCompliance to internal and external policies and regulationsEnsure sustainability of Business Continuity PlanEnsure high quality of service delivery provided to clientsDevelop and nurture a strong relationship with market players and regulators to develop and implement market reformsCoach and develop a highly motivated team through active performance management

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

Previous Securities Services experience is an advantage (e.g. Client Services, Operations, Settlements, Asset Services/Corporate Actions, Investment Licensing/Registration).General banking operations (e.g. remittances, taxation, foreign exchange) or financial accounting or business analyst background, knowledge of stock market activities, equities, fixed income instruments and other securities.Familiarity with regulators (Philippines Stock Exchange, Philippine Depository and Trust Corporation, Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, Bureau of Internal Revenue, Securities and Exchange Commission) and regulations.Able to build relationships and influence others, both internal and external stakeholders.Must possess effective communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.Must be able to think and work effectively under challenging situations to properly manage multiple tasks and identify any potential issues and resolve them.Able to lead people and connect at all levels of the organization: can-do attitudeMust have strong sense of ownership, responsibility, accountability, and teamwork.
