Working in a team, you will focus on accounting, tax and advisory for a variety of business clients which will give you exposure to a broad range of industries and structures.
You will be responsible for completing accounting and tax work for business clients to a very high standard and with minimal need for review and revision.
You will communicate daily with your team via Video calls and messaging services.
Working in a small team, you will focus on accounting and taxation services such as:
Processing and preparing financial statements for trusts and companies up to Trial Balance stage Tax compliance for all entities including trusts, companies and partnerships Processing Capital Gains Tax, Div 7a, Rental Schedules, conducting investigation and resolving accounting discrepanciesBAS and IAS preparationPreparation of tax reconciliations/electronic workpapersPrepare and update tax provision schedulesPreparation of full set of accountsThe role is well suited for an individual looking for a long-term position and wishing to take on a wide range of responsibilities in a fast-paced environment, and someone who can work on a portfolio of business clients across different industries and maintain excellent relationships with both clients and the teams.
about You
CPA qualification is preferredMinimum of 3+ years of business services accounting in an Australian accounting firmExcellent knowledge of Xero, Workflow Max and MS OfficeKnowledge of Asana, Deputy, Hubdoc and other add-ons desirableCan quickly learn how to use new software and programmesExtremely high attention to detailA committed, and flexible attitudeMust have strong communication skills, an excellent work ethic and can work both independently and as part of a teamHighly organised and able to plan and prioritise daily tasks in a fast-paced environmentA fun, friendly and positive attitude and a great willingness to learnPersonality traits
