Preferably BS Nutrition, Sociology, Economics and other allied fields. MS/MA Degree will also be an advantage;With relevant experience in the conduct of monitoring, evaluation and policy-related researches; intervention and modeling studiesGood writing and analytical skillsGood supervisory skills will also be an advantageBRIEF DEscriptION OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assists the Division Chief in the planning, supervision and coordination of all the activities of the DivisionParticipates in planning, directing and coordinating all activities of the projectsConducts approved researches and /or studiesPrepares, evaluates and reviews research proposals/concept papers as well as technical reports, manuscripts and other materials for publicationsLeads In the implementation of approved projects of the Section;Supervises, coaches and mentors a small group of researchers in the conduct of projects/studiesAssists in prescribing, monitoring and evaluating broad procedures and/or methods for a projectRenders consultant and technical assistance services related to food, nutrition and healthPrepares and writes position papers, policy statements and reviews/comments on policy documents related to food, nutrition and healthPerforms related work and other duties assigned by the Supervisor or higher authority.DOST-FNRI highly encourages all interested and qualified applicants including Persons with Disability (PWD) and members of the indigenous communities, irrespective of sexual orientation and gender identity to apply for the abovementioned vacant positions.
