External audit associate

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist senior-in-charge of audit engagements in planning for and performing the auditCoordinate with senior in-charge on client and audit team mattersdocument results of procedures performedPerform other related tasks assigned by the senior-in-charge in the completion of the audit assignment

QUALIFICATIONS:

 Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent. CPA is preferred.Strong technical accounting skills with proficiency in Singapore Financial Reporting Standards and Singapore Standards on AuditingStrong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and audit preparation software (CaseWare)Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills in EnglishRespect various cultures and diversitiesMust be able to work under pressure and under minimal supervisionsStrong client service and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationshipsBuild rapport and collaborate effectively with others, creating a positive team environmentSeek opportunities to learn and make constructive suggestions for improvementsAdapt communication style to meet the needs of the situation and targeted audienceAbility to handle multiple engagements and competing priorities in a rapidly growing, fast-paced, interactive, results-based team environmentExcellent analytical, organizational, and project management skillsAbility to work additional hours as needed1 to 2 years of progressive audit experience
