The Role
As a Branch & Financial Institution Recon Unit Head, you will supervise the over-all operations of two sections: Branch Recon and Financial Recon Institution.

Over-all in-charge of the validation and reconciliation of accounts under the Statement of condition of Branches and Cash HubsEnsures fully reconciled discrepancies within the approved turn-aroundMaintains reliability & accuracy of figures reported to the ManagementOversees the accurate and timely reconciliation of Statement of Accounts (SOA) from Local and Foreign Banks and Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) versus General LedgerReview and approves adjustments and accounting entriesHandles the maintenance of Oracle SystemWhat we’re looking for
Must have a Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Banking & Finance, or AccountancyAt least 5 to 10 years of relevant experienceKnowledgeable in basic accounting standardsHas good communication skills – oral and written - perform and explain reconciliation process clearlyCan handle complex task and decision making on behalf of Department HeadEffective people management skillsHas the ability to prioritize work and meet set deadlinesCan proactively identify, analyze, and improve existing business processes to increase effectiveness and achieve efficiency gains for business goals and quality optimization
