The Collections Unit Head is primarily responsible for overseeing the collection efforts of collectors, supervision, and implementation of planned action and formulation of collection strategy to cure delinquent accounts, and for the close coordination with the bank Units that will handle systems enhancements or changes. They shall also be responsible for keeping the past due loans within the delinquency target of the bank.Supervises the performance of Collection Associates (CAs) at the Head Office and the provinces.Ensures that the established collections activities and triggers are complied with by the CAs.Monitors and reviews past due aging reports of consumer loanFollows-up CAs on clients with unpaid/undeducted amortizations.Refers to outside/external Collections Agency hardcore Non-Performing Loans.Assists in the cleanup of Accounts Payable (unapplied payments), Accounts Receivable (e.g. insurance premium), and float items in the Bank Reconciliation.Checks/Reviews billing reports for Loans.Reviews/Investigates reasons for undeducted Loan accounts.Submits report to the Department Head monthly on the status of Past Due/Delinquent Accounts, Billing Efficiency, and for accounts to be Written-off.A. Minimum Educational Requirementso Graduate of any 4-year course, preferably in Office Management or a related fieldo at least 2-year managerial experience in Credit and Collection especially for loans is a pluso With at least 5 years of experience in collecting, accounts receivable, or a related area.B.
