Job Description:
The Marketing and Communications Assistant will be responsible with assisting the Marketing and Communications Manager in managing the external and internal communications requirements of ASC. He/she will be engaged in developing the Comms Plan and will be responsible for its implementation. He/she will be tasked to ensure that content and editorials for all platforms, be it for internal or external audiences are within the standards of Sun Life branding guidelines.
He/she will be responsible with coordination and collaboration between ASCP and external vendors; ASCP Marcom and other deparments in ASCP; ASCP Marcom and other counterparts in Regional Office and/or Head Office in Canada; within ASC Marcom. These collaborations will form part in fulfilling the marketing and communications requirements of ASCP.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for creating and implementing internal/employee and recruiting communications content and contributing to programs that actively engage internal audiences both for ASCP and ASC from time to time.Execute digital and marketing campaigns that would help increase value of employer branding and support talent acquisition’s hiring target.Measure success of each plan, check conversion rates and give insights per plan/campaign launchedEnsure content for owned social media platforms (FB and LI) and website are up to dateEnsure implementation of plans within the agreed timeframePublish timely company information, such as advisories, executive messages and company directives. Set timing of release to coordinate with company events or initiatives.Ensure communication strategy is consistent and reflects the organization’s strategic vision. Ensure consistent framing of messages.Measure and present results of communication efforts.Refine core messaging to ensure organizational consistency in all aspects of communication including development, organizing and education.Publish videos and photography on company internal website (The Source) and social media platform (WP)Ensure employees are engaged in company initiatives.Edit, design and publish internal publicationsEnsure developments of reports as necessaryQualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Communications or MarketingAt least 3-4 years experience in Corporate Communications, Marketing or Marketing and CommunicationsKnowledge on digital marketing and data analyticsMust be proficient in PPT, Word and ExcelStrong English Communication SkillsMust have basic knowledge in content development (copywriting and layout)
