The Deputy HR Manager supports the HR Manager in overseeing personnel and daily operations of the human resources department. Ensure that the Human Resources team fulfills its role within the organization on a day-to-day basis.

The person appointed will be required to be flexible in this position and must be prepared to undertake such other duties as assigned to him/her by the HR Manager.

Deputy HR Manager Responsibilities:

·     Perform the full spectrum of HR activities such as personnel administration (proper records organization), compliance with statutory regulations, salary administration, employee movement (transfers/promotion//confirm/iation/resignation) processes, employee benefits, and any such activities.

·     Staff Recruitment and Selection: review and implement best practices in conjunction with the HR Manager to meet the immediate and future staffing requirements of the organization.

·     Ensuring compliance with national law and legislation and the company's policies and procedures for the visa of foreign employees.

·     Provide professional support and advice to all Package/ Works Managers in relation to Human Resource issues.

·     Assist in developing organizational guidelines and procedures.

·     Keep up to date with the latest HR trends and best practices.

Deputy HR Manager Requirements:

·     Degree in Human Resource Management or related qualification

·     Minimum 7 years of Human Resources experience with 4 years of managerial experience

·     Understanding of local Labor Laws and employment regulations.

·     Experience in the construction industry is a plus

·     Superb computer literacy with capability in email, MS Office, and related HR software (HRvan.nu).

·     Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·      Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.

·     Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

·     Demonstrable evidence of creative initiatives.
