WHAT THIS POSITION IS about - PURPOSEYou are responsible for entity finance controlling related activities ensuring full compliance with corporate accounting, financial reporting (internal) and statutory requirements (external). They will work closely with Entity and other Finance teams and Markets and with GBS to ensure monthly closing processes run smoothly, balance sheet analysis is completed timely and all relevant company standards via global policies and procedures / JSOX are adhered to. WHAT WILL YOU DO - RESPonSIBILITIESMonth End Closing and Corporate ReportingOversee closing activities performed by GBS, bring any issues to resolution, advice on and raise any non-recurring entriesMonitor the closing via analytical checks on BS and PLPrepare CFO quarterly reporting documentation for sign-off of the quarter resultsReview reporting pages prepared by GBSReview / prepare specific analysis requested by Corporate Accounting ensuring correct commercial context addedQuality Entity AnalysisReview account reconciliation prepared by GBS and prepare Balance Sheet Analysis monthly and present to Entity Finance Director identifying any focus areas of concern (ageing, unexpected variance etc.)Follow up and timely resolve any queries from the BS reviewSuggest changes in how account reconciliation is presented and analyzed to bring efficiencies Own monthly reporting deck and suggest changes to improve visibility of BS healthStatutory Financial Statements and Financial AuditPrepare analysis of IFRS to Statutory ledgers and ensure all differences known, seek corrections and / or address root cause in case of errorsOwn delivery of audit request list from auditors liaising with all stakeholders and performing quality checks on info providedOwn and deliver financial statements preparation and all supporting notesSeek improvements in FS preparation through automation and / or more timely reconciliations during the year / request GBS support and guide themPartnering with TaxDrive compliance of tax related requirements e.g. intercompany transactions with contract BIR requirements Business partner with tax team to provideExplanation to questions surrounding accounting practiceOwn Global Corporate reporting working with Tax and GBS as neededProcess Improvement ProjectsPlan, execute, report and present findings and recommendation from in depth review of processes and / or balance sheet areas as advised by Entity Finance DirectorSeek to document processes for knowledge building and proper documentation storageSolutions should aim to bring efficiency in recording or business benefits People management (if applicable)Recruit, motivate and guide the professional development of the team Other (if applicable)Responsible for various tasks and projects as assigned. WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR - REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor's Degree in Accounting & Finance.
