We are looking for an Accountant who can make sound financial decisions by recording transactions, compiling and analysing data, performing audits, assist with budgets and financial forecasting and computing taxes.
They must also be detail-oriented, professional and analytical in order to achieve company success. Moreover, they must also have the ability to deliver complex quantitative data to decision-makers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform daily financial transactions and complete the posting process.Perform partial checks of the posting process;Ensure payroll is accurate and records are maintained.Payroll ProcessingCompleting of Company Income Tax ReturnPreparation of BAS and lodgementRaising of client invoicesReconciling the bank accountsFollow-up on overdue accountsMonthly reporting to management teamIdentifying business incentives offered by the ATO and government authoritiesLodgment of ATOEnsure the business follows all required legislation.Perform other ad hoc tasks as required by the role.Education and Work Experience:
With at least three (3) years of Accounting experience;Experience with Australian Accounting/Taxation is essential.With extensive experience in Bookkeeping, Forecasting, Taxation etc.A degree in Finance, Accounting or Business AdministrationProficient with SAGEX3 SoftwareExcellent English communication skills;Can start immediately
