Job purpose
The Senior Accountant – Financial Consolidation & Reporting will play an integral and highly visible role within the accounting and broader finance organization. This position is responsible for leading timely and accurate recording and consolidation of Addiction Foods' financial statement
The Senior Accountant – Consolidation and Reporting role is highly visible with frequent interactions with the Finance Head and CEO, and other executives of the Company.
Key duties and responsibilities
Lead consolidation procedure and coordinate the monthly, quarterly, and annual close and global consolidation of actuals, including the submission of monthly financial information and reporting schedules from the business units.Prepare monthly quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements including footnotes and related support.Ensure inter-company and related party transactions are identified, properly recorded, and eliminated.Lead quarterly/semi-annual balance sheet deep dive exercise to ensure the accurate and complete representation of the financial position on the Company’s consolidated balance sheet.Responsible for the compilation of consolidated balance sheets, income statements, statements of cash flows, and other executive reporting schedules.Maintains a thorough understanding of financial reporting and general ledger structure.Key liaison with the Company’s SEC/external reporting team, and review of audit committee materials.·
Key Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA.5+ years of accounting and finance experience including consolidations with 3+ years of progressive experience in a corporate accounting role.Advanced knowledge of financial accounting/reporting with a balance of external reporting and operational analysis, preferably within or associated with food manufacturing companies.Solid understanding of the concepts of control design and operational efficiency.A high degree of proficiency with SAP, Excel, and other Microsoft Office products with the ability to retrieve data, manipulate such data, and create useful analytical information.Experience performing complex consolidations of global businesses preferred and strong GAAP understanding.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
