JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Prepares the surgery room, including sterilization and preparation of equipment, instruments and medications before the procedure. Ensures surgical field remains sterile all throughout the procedure. Adheres to safety standards and precautions.Maintains complete, accurate, concise, and updated documentation of patient care. Observes procedures and policies pertaining to any aspect of clinical charting and reporting.Encodes patients information in the Clinical Information & Management SystemDraft the medical abstract of the patient upon his/her request and ensure that it is checked and signed by the attending physician before issuance to the requesting patientPerform basic knowledge in usage and minor trouble shooting with the machines on LASIK and Cataract surgeries.
