● Searches for new clients using various tools and connections (eg: social media, websites, etc)
● Creates a list of companies and institutions that avail and necessitate logistical services and consultancy detailing relevant information such as the telephone numbers, email addresses, and office addresses.
● Identifies decision makers with current and potential partners
● Contacts current clients, offer new services and updates
● Contacts with potential clients for scouting and selling company services
● Sets up meetings between client decision makers and company’s practice leaders/principals
● Presents and consults with mid and senior level management on business trends with a view to developing new services, products, and distribution channels
● Plans approaches and pitches through developing proposals that speaks to the client’s needs, concerns, and objectives
● Handle objections by clarifying and emphasizing agreements, and working through differences to a positive conclusion.
● Attends industry functions, such as association events and conferences
● Provides feedback and information on market and creative trends
● Submits weekly progress reports and ensures data is accurate
● Forecast sales targets and ensures they are met by the company
● Tracks and records activity on accounts and helps to close deals to meet these targets
With logistics experience - Pharma account is an advantage.
