Big Data ETL Integration Engineer

The Role
We are searching for a Big Data Integration Engineer to join our talented and passionate team. In this role, you will be involved in data transformation projects, help us define and drive Big Data and Talend ETL standards and best practices across our teams, design and implement ETL frameworks and various metadata-driven reusable components. You will have end-to-end accountability for developing, deploying, and supporting our data assets.
Qualifications
Successfully delivered a project, with experience working in Agile and DevOps environmentProficient oral and written communications skillsDedicated, adaptable and able to quickly understand new concepts and apply them correctlyIndependent worker with effective interpersonal skills including mentoring, coaching, and team buildingProficient in at least two of the followingTalend ETL toolset (ideally both Talend Data Integration and Talend Big Data editions)Data warehousing with emphasis on the Information Management domainBig Data technologies such as Hive, Spark, Presto, AirFlow, general purpose storage (HDFS, S3, BLOB) and other Hadoop / Apache toolsExperience in Data modelling using Data Vault 2.0 methodology will be a plusKnowledge of different Spark-based PaaS solutions like EMR or DataBricks as well as programming languages like Scala or Python will be additional advantageKnowledge of CI/CD and code coverage analytical toolsFamiliarity with at least one cloud platform, preferably AWS or GCPFamiliarity with configuration management tools and containerization technologiesFamiliarity with security/vulnerability toolsFamiliarity with monitoring toolsWhat’s in it for you
