The Research and Development Specialist position provides the overall project management for innovation projects, including product development of new concepts, innovative store/commissary processes, new functional packaging concepts, and new business directions.
He/she continuously supports the store and manufacturing operations.He/She directly reports to the Technology & Innovations Manager and collaborates with other team members within and outside the section.JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Must have a Bachelor's or College Degree in Food Technology or Chemistry Major in Food Science and TechnologyAt least two (2) years experience in product development and innovation, product optimization, Micro Functions, Sensory evaluations, commercial translation in a leading QSR, food service, or manufacturing company.Preferably with fundamental to advanced commercial baking and meat processing experience.Has favorable hands-on experience in commercial product translation either in manufacturing or retail set-up.Basic to advanced knowledge and skill in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).Willing to work in Sucat.
