The Logistics Specialist is responsible for ensuring all raw material requirements of IO Market are shipped based on the agreed or required date indicated on the Purchase Order through proper coordination and collaboration with the US Purchasing, Corporate Purchasing, and Account Management; coordinates with the source warehouse for the timely picking/packing of stocks for transfer to the Forwarders warehouse; coordinates with the Forwarder to ensure timely dispatch of container vans from their warehouse going to the port area.
Closely coordinates with the US Purchasing for any update on the status of their Purchase Order in terms of the following requirements: (a) order fulfillment; (b) additional orders; and (c) order cancellation/changes; confirms the arrival of the shipment to port destination.Closely coordinates with Corporate Purchasing and Account Management for any update on stock availability for standard and non-standard items based on the Purchase Order given by the IO USA Market.Closely coordinates with DC Operation and/or 3rd Party Logistics Provider for the status of stock inventory and/or stock picking/packing based on the Purchased Order given by the IO USA Market.Ensures that all Purchase Order has been translated into a valid Sales Order in coordination with the Order Management Group.Ensures that all reportorial requirements and official documents needed for the shipment of goods to the IO USA Markets are complete.Provides shipment report to Internal Control Group and Billing Section for accrual purposes.JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduate with Bachelor's degree in Science in Customs Administration or Business Administration major in ManagementAt least 2-3 years of experience in both distribution/warehouse and custom/exportation processesKnowledgeable in Supply Chain ManagementKnowledgeable in Customs Regulation and Policies both local and internationalHave a good understanding of QMS policyWilling to work in Bicutan, Parañaque
