Performs customer due diligence process which includes screening of customers’ information, profile and official documents provided.Conducts thorough screening is done during enhance due diligence procedures and necessary requirements are acquired.Performs timely investigation on flagged or high risks potentials customers are performed and reported.Works on tickets created for AO/CDD Team related to customer onboarding, loan application and fraud investigation.Assists other internal departments/units on customer queries, requests and complaints.Promotes operational initiatives to improve the efficiency of the Account Opening / Customer Due Diligence Department.Ensures department compliance with HIPAA guidelines, HR policies and other corporate initiatives.Performs tasks related to Audit Readiness and Compliance to all Regulatory/AMLA policies and the like.Ensure to stick on the approved policies/manual and practice Maker/Checker process at all times to avoid mistakes/errors which may impact the bank monetarily, add additional unnecessary workload to affected departments or have a negative impact on the bank’s reputationEnsure that all service level agreements are met.Reports to the Account Opening / Customer Due Diligence Supervisor.Performs other related function/s that may be assigned from time to time.Job Requirements
Preferably has Bachelor or Degree holder in Accounting of Finance, Commerce, Marketing or related disciplines.At least 1+ years of operations experience at a high-growth tech company, preferably fintech or bank.Has experience in performing CDD/EDD functions.Has experience in fraud/transaction monitoring and investigation.Strong understanding of economic, legal, regulatory, and technical factors shaping banking/payments services.Strong analytical skills that will allow good reporting and understanding of problems.Exceptional collaborative and troubleshooting/deductive skills including the ability to engage in operational incidents with emerging data to assess impact and drive collaborative resolution in a swift manner.Able to work independently if required, and learn quickly and adapt to different roles in a growing teamA sense of urgency, pragmatism and a solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
