Reporting to the Director, Global Regional Protective Services, the Protective Services Associate Director is a full time role, responsible for providing ‘Enterprise Security Risk Management’ (including physical security risk management, personal security, life safety, crisis management, risk mitigation, investigative services, workplace violence (WPV), behavioral threat assessment, event security -executive protection, security and safety systems and equipment, identification of local / global incidents that impact Accenture and the coordination of notification messages to employees, geo-political threat monitoring (regional/global), threat/risk identification and analysis, security vendor management, security training, and budget development) advice and assistance to Accenture locations within areas of responsibility; the role may also include some elements of Global responsibilities.
S/he will assist in providing strategic leadership of a corporate security program in a complicated corporate environment that values collaboration, independent thinking, proactive problem-solving, integrity, collegiality, efficiency, and continuous organizational transformation. S/he is expected to develop a close collaborative relationship with Accenture’s Business, IT, Cyber Security, Legal, Travel, Workplace, and HR leaders as well as with domestic and foreign law enforcement and diplomatic and intelligence services.
The incumbent is required to apply deep security skills to deliver a wide variety of innovations, systems, applications, and assets which we design, implement, and operate to provide industry-tailored, end-to-end security services that enable Accenture and our clients to build resilience from the inside out to protect entire value chains. S/he has the management oversight for the protecting the assets for Accenture, responsible for identification and management of corporate risks in areas of people safety, reputational risk, information and property loss or compromise, including defining and reviewing the policy and processes on a periodic basis in accordance with the defined roadmap. May have life safety responsibilities.
The role requires:
• Proactive identification, definition and solving of complex problems that have impact on the direction of the business or work effort, where analysis of situations requires an in-depth knowledge of Accenture.
• Development and execution of strategy to achieve key business objectives in area of responsibility.
• Interaction is with senior management levels at a client and/or within Accenture, involving negotiation or influencing on critical matters. Authority (Power to influence or complete assignments independently, and ability to make decisions, as measured by latitude to devise work products or plans, reliance on instruction, and decision-making ability): Wide latitude in decision making and dietermination of objectives and approaches to critical assignments. Manages large complex teams and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within Accenture.
The incumbent will be based out of Manila, Philippines. S/he will support ASEAN, Greater China, Philippines, ANZ and Japan Regional Protective Services amongst other global responsibilities; s/he is required to be flexible and be available on call (24*7) to support the people and business of Accenture.
Responsibilities may include some or all the below:
Security Management:
.• Coordinate Security activities across all countries within the region and ensure communication is cascaded to each country and back up to the global team
• Manage or direct the work of other Security team members
• Foster security culture and awareness.
Corporate and Client Security Standards
• Understand and implement Accenture’s corporate security standards
• Work closely with project leads and other corporate functions lead to operationalize the global / local responses
• Collaborate with local stakeholders (e.g., Workplace Solutions, Legal, HR) to ensure all security responsibilities are known and followed
Crisis Management, Risk Intelligence, Event Monitoring, and Employee Notification
• As SME (crisis incident management) serve as a key contact for internal and external stake holders.
• Deal with difficult and sensitive situations appropriately and confidentially.
• Oversee information gathering to identify and assess any threats against the organization.
Personal Security:
• Active member of Behavioral Threat Assessment Team (BTAT).
• Support employees/contractors/clients affected by internal / external safety-security incidents.
• Conduct threat assessments to include domestic and international operations and disseminate findings as needed.
General:
• Liaise with other similar businesses in the community to understand local best practices and challenges such as ASIS, OSAC, ISMA
• Identify opportunities for program and standards improvements, and work with the global team to develop and implement solutions and outcomes
•Develop and manage local vendor relationships as needed
