Strategy Associate

The Associate in Deals Strategy works with an extended team to solve problems creatively for our clients. The type of work that we do covers Strategy, Commercial Due Diligence, and Value Creation.We work with our major clients who are strategic investors or private equity firms, both local and foreign, to maximize the upside of their business decisions, and minimize their downside. The projects that we have done include mergers and acquisition, commercial due diligence, industry due diligence, feasibility studies and business plans, market entry strategy, and commercial advocacy.Successful candidates will have the following qualifications:Graduate of a university degree in business, accounting, economics, engineering, or a related field.Has initiative - can lead self and others.Takes ownership of work and is willing to be held accountable for output.Manages deadlines and expectations of other team members, and clients.Has a bias for action.Willing to learn with a basic knowledge of business.Familiar with the Philippines economy.Able to develop a point of view.Able to sustain a different opinion, provided it is supported by evidence and analysis.Able to grow and learn with exposure to more challenging work and projects.Resourceful in solving problems creatively.Performs research using online tools and in person work.Generates insight through logical thinking, supported by data and research and analysis.Knows how to use office suite software.Collaborates with other team members and clients in defining problems and assessing the proper questions to ask.Resourceful in testing hypotheses.Relentless in getting the job done.Works well with team members.Communicates well, in written form or verbally.At ease in social situations and able to converse well.Can collaborate seamlessly with clients.Adaptable - can work virtually, or in person.Builds trust with others and demonstrates reliability.Confident in creating and maintaining productive relationships with colleagues and clients.Able to listen well and confident to clarify unclear issues.Can dissent in a professional discussion and present alternative views.Able to manage expectations internally and execute on those expectations.
