Job Description

The SEO Specialist is a key player in the success of our DTC business. Reporting to the Director of E-Commerce this position will play an important role in the creation, implementation, and day-to-day management of SEO strategies to drive traffic and customer acquisition across all Timex Group site properties. This entails keyword list development, site content management, advising on our blog’s direction, site architecture enhancements and other efforts to maximize indexing, rank, traffic, and transactions.

Although focused on SEO, this individual will have the opportunity to work cross-functionally with all the key areas that comprise our E-commerce business and be able to make a tangible impact right from the get-go.

Primary Duties & Responsibility

• Lead all SEO efforts for global Timex (timex.com, timex.ca, timex.co.uk and timex.eu) and GUESS watch (shop.guesswatches.com) sites.

• Conduct research and monitoring of keywords, competitor analysis, and on-site opportunities.

• Maintain weekly and monthly reports on SEO progress relating to traffic, keywords and revenue.

• Support maintenance and utilization of SEO tracking tools

• Optimize on-page copy and landing pages for SEO opportunity.

• Work closely with blog content team to ensure articles are suitable SEO-optimized and provide recommendations for future article opportunities.

• Provide assistance with auditing and QA support to review site enhancements and merchandising/categorization updates from an SEO perspective.

• Pursue change requests with IT where necessary on site architecture.

• Monitor off-site content and backlink profile analysis.

Skills & Qualifications

• BA/BS from an accredited University.

• 1 years experience in digital marketing or analytics, with a focus on SEO.

• Proficient with Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, DeepCrawl, SEMRush, Ahrefs, and/or equivalent SEO tools.

• Familiar with Google Analytics, Google Data Studio or similar web analytics tool.

• Familiar with Wordpress, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Shopify or other similar CMS.

• Basic HTML understanding as relates to SEO.

• Data curious and someone willing to take initiative and drive to solve problems.

• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail; strong communicator.

• Ability to multi-task while remaining deliberate to achieve tasks.
