Urgent: Merchandise Manager

The Merchandise Manager is responsible for the formulation of financial, marketing and promotional plans and strategies in order to meet sales objectives. The MM ensures profitability, efficient operation and continued sales and margin growth of his/her brands and/or categories under their Merchandising Division. The MM coordinates with other functional groups to ensure effective implementation of the plans for the brand/category. The MM also acts as the main contact person between the principals and the organization.Requirements:Graduate of a 4-year course related to Business Management or Fashion MerchandisingAt least 3-5 years of relevant Managerial experience in merchandising, majority of which is in the retail industryRequires good computer skills, including advanced Microsoft Excel skills and knowledge in word processing applicationsAdvanced knowledge in budget, financial statements, strategic marketing and trend forecastingRequires excellent skills in Merchandise Management, Marketing or Fashion Merchandising.Requires extensive knowledge on beauty, fashion or market trendsCreative/innovativeExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAnalytical and good in mathExcellent negotiation and presentation skillsStrong leadership skillsWell-organized and detail-orientedAble to make advance planning, timely decisions and anticipate problemsAction and results orientedAble to deal with ambiguity and adapts well to changeHas good interpersonal skills; assertive and energeticMerchandising experience in luxury retail / fashion retail is a plusNote: Shortlisted candidates will be contacted either on Whatsapp or Viber only.
