The Merchandise Manager will support the Brand Manager in different aspects of the product development. It will monitor the merchandise performance to achieve sales margin and inventory level.

Buying and Product Range DevelopmentOTB ManagementInventory ManagementReporting and quantitative analyticsSPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Buying and product range development
Monitor market and consumer trends to identify opportunities for potential merchandise investments.Analyze current merchandise mix for each store based on their needs and merchandise capacity.Prepare costing and recommended retail price.2. OTB Planning and monitoring
Will handle OTBs (Open to buy) plans for selected brands.Update OTB monthly to ensure that each brand performance is performing well and is on track.3. Inventory Management
Monitor incoming deliveries for brands.Monitors sell thru of merchandise per brand and per category.Implement monthly markdown cadence for ageing items.Monitors MOH (month’s on-hand) levels.Coordinates intra and inter-concept store transfers and pulloutsEnsure that all merchandise investments and campaigns are properly pushed throughout the season.4. Reporting and quantitative analytics
Quantitative reports for brands and key campaign articlesMonthly updates on OTBMonthly/quarterly/semi-annual reports for brand principals5. Principal/Internal Support Functions
Liaises with Principal (Brand, Products, Marketing, Competition, etc.)Act as OIC when Brand Manager is not availableQUALIFICATION:
College graduate preferably in Business Management or any related field.Must have experience in retail merchandising including buying, pricing, and inventory management.Trainings, Seminars, and/or Certification from Fashion School an advantage.Must be sports enthusiast
