Main responsibilities:
Sales and Collection Management – achievement of periodical (month, quarter and annual) growth and sales targets and ensuring collection of accounts receivable within the allowed credit terms. Field and Trade Demand Creation/Promotions – prepare and execute an effective demand creation plan for various industry stakeholders and trade promotions to support POG (Product-on-Ground) targetsSales Team Management – building and development of high-performing and highly competent team membersOther responsibilities:
Customer Partnership and Relationship Building – build and promote strong and long-term business relationships with all customersBusiness and Market Intelligence Gathering and Reporting –. regular and periodic communication of gathered market intelligence from industry stakeholdersReporting and other responsibilities may be directed by the Business ManagerBrief description of responsibilities and tasks:
Sales Management
Prepare, Execute and evaluate the Annual Sales and Distribution Plan in coordination with the Business ManagerProvide monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecast – crop-wise and product wiseNegotiate and finalize sales deals with the direct accountsAccurate and effective communication of products, prices and discountsConduct periodic business reviews with distributorsEnsure product availability, visibility and movement in all relevant channelsAccounts Receivables Management
Prepare, Execute and evaluate Monthly Collection PlanEnsure on-time collection of Accounts ReceivablesConduct credit investigations for new customersField and Trade Demand Creation/Promotions
Prepare, Execute and evaluate Demand Creation and Trade Promotions Plans in line with the Marketing Strategy and in coordination with the Business Manager and EZA Marketing Team. Ensure that the sales team is equipped with the proper tools and materials to effectively execute Demand Creation and Promotions activitiesCollaborate with Technical Manager to develop effective communication of product features and benefits during Demand Creation ActivitiesDevelop and execute other high-impact campaigns throughout the course of the yearCustomer Relations Management
Identify, connect and build strong relationships with specific stakeholders – distributors, dealers, wholesalers, local government units, Department of Agriculture, etc. Ensure a high level of customer service and properly address customer needs and concerns.Initiate collaborative partnership projects with customers and stakeholdersBusiness and Market Intelligence Gathering and Reporting
Provide relevant market and industry information – competitor sales performance, pricing, manpower movement and marketing activities, market trends and developments, government programs and activities, etc., on a timely and regular basisAnalyse gathered information and make necessary recommendations to the companyProfile Requirements:
Must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree in Business/Management/Marketing or equivalentAt least 5-10 years of experience in sales management preferably from the Agriculture industryMust be willing to travelCompany competencies:
