Human Resources Manager

JOB SUMMARY

The Human Resources Manager oversees the Organization’s human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating policies, practices, and programs of the human resources department.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Recruit and maintain quality and talented individuals by establishing an effective recruitment and training programMaintain and enhance employee benefits programs by assessing benefit needs and trends, recommending programs to Management, and effectively implementing them.Manage the daily operations of the Human Resources DepartmentEnsure the company’s policies and procedures are consistently and strictly administered, aligned with organizational goals, and updated to ensure compliance with government requirements and labor lawsEnsure job descriptions are updatedEnsure performance appraisals are accomplished on timeMaintain employee relations by training managers to coach and discipline employees, and hearing and resolving employee grievances.Establish trust and maintain professional relationships with all levels of employeesMaintain human resources records by organizing past and present documentsPerform other tasks that may be assigned from time to time

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Behavioral Sciences, or equivalentAt least five (5) years experience as an HR Supervisor/Assistant Manager/ManagerExcellent oral and written communication, leadership, and problem-solving skillsExtensive knowledge of HR policies and systems, and an understanding of Philippine labor laws
