The Role
As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of the product lifecycle of the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprise (MSME) product & services portfolio. You will handle the development of a new product proposition, enhance/digitize existing offerings as well as carry product profit & loss (P&L) responsibilities (i.e. pricing and cost management). You will also ensure that the inception and execution of all MSME campaigns are fulfilled and will work closely with the MSME CVP Manager, MSME Campaign & Analytics Manager, Sales, and other functional teams to drive top-line growth.
How you'll contribute
Enhance products & services value proposition for the MSME segment. Developing features lists, and user stories, and gaining an understanding of users’ personas, pain points, and journeys.Manage existing product suite, improve current features, and understand business drivers (i.e. revenue & cost).Work closely with technology partners to develop new products or enhancements from initiation to completion. Including the conduct of UAT and providing complete documentation of the project.Conduct regular market scans to update product benchmarking. Spot new business trends and opportunities and cascade this information to the rest of the MSME organization.Ensures products are all compliant with local regulations.What we’re looking for
Bachelor's degree in Mathematics/Statistics, Economics, Finance/Accountancy/Banking, Industrial, Computer Science/Information TechnologyAt least 5 years of experience in secured lending product management, payments, cash management, fintech, product marketing, and/or retail credit risk.Must have a good grasp of local regulations regarding retail and small business financing.Must have project management skillsProficient in MS Tools (moderate to advanced MS Excel skills)Has a background in local market and competitor landscape of MSME products/propositionsMust have strong communication and presentation skills
