The Role
As a Senior Disbursement Officer, you will be responsible in ensuring the timeliness, accuracy, legitimacy, appropriateness of payments, and compliance to existing Bank’s policies and procedures and service level agreements. The job holder is also responsible for ensuring the integrity of financial information, timely maintenance of accurate records and reports, and execution of instruction/tasks to deliver excellent result.
Supervises the section's activities and ensures that all deliverables are completed and on timeReviews and approves payments to suppliers, cash dividend checks to SBC stockholders, and reimbursements arising from fraud and scam cases.Supervises the reconciliation of selected GL and P&L accounts, discrepancies if any are immediately investigated and correctedReviews and approves the daily documents to support payables transactions in a timely and accurate manner.Reviews payables daily processes and closes the period process (month-end and year-end) on a regular basisWhat we’re looking for
More than 10 years of related experience in Accounting/Audit/Tax Services, Banking, and Financing InstitutionsExperienced in DisbursementStrong accounting background /with previous experience in Accounts PayableGood understanding of basic banking and local taxationWell-developed analytical abilities and oral and written communication skills
