Retail Pricing Officer (Hybrid Work Setup)

The Retail Pricing Officer supports the business pricing objectives by performing daily pricing operations necessary for the execution and realization of pricing strategies in the station leading to margin opportunities. You will play a meaningful role in SEAOIL through daily pricing operations such as pump price checking, approval of discounts, reviewing of margins and other similar activities. 

Success in this role will require you to fulfill the following responsibilities:

1. Analyzes pricing requests from field officers aligned to the business growth strategy of the company.

2. Ensures retail margin targets are optimized through pricing reviews, gating, and proper recommendation fit for the retail station’s market.

3. Manages and validates implementation of pricing direction in retail stations.

4. Coordinates with the necessary departments to deliver requests within lead time.

5. Performs other related functions that may be assigned from time to time.

Preferred Qualifications for the Role:

Critical Expertise and Skills:

Adept in Basic Microsoft Excel, effective organization, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.Demonstrates keen attention to detail, has a sense of ownership, urgency and accountability. The new hire must have a remarkable desire to act with integrity and embrace accountability in making things better for customers.                               Above average verbal and written communication skills.Working knowledge of web-based Google Workspace (formerly, G Suite, and comprises of spreadsheets, documents, and presentations).

Realistic Job Preview:

A day in the life of a Officer (Retail Pricing) would involve:

Processes requests from other departments related to retail pricing like analyzing pump prices in the station, computing for available discounts for accounts and other similar pricing activities.

Expectations from Candidates:

Candidates who are invited for HR screening will need to undergo and pass an online exam and/or technical exam, and accomplish HR documents, personality tests, and essay exams before proceeding to the HR interview.

Candidates who pass the HR interview would then need to submit soft copies of their available pre-employment requirements, such as the Transcript of Records, Diploma, and NBI clearance. The complete list will be provided by the recruiter.

In the event candidates are hired, they would be required to submit hard copies of all the pre-employment requirements and pass the medical exam and background check before onboarding.
