Head of Legal (Angono, Rizal)

Responsibilities:

Oversees the regulatory requirements/compliances relevant to real property of the organization whether owned, claimed or leased, including but not limited to real estates, foreshore agreements, and tenementsConducts due diligence for land or raw material reserve acquisitionProvides sound technical advice to Top Management with interpretation of the Company’s third party management, land ownership, acquisition or asset disposal, and identification of risks and opportunitiesDevelops public relations strategies and campaigns, builds positive relationships with clients, communities, stakeholders, state and non-state bodies and cultivates value-added relationship with Decision Making Authorities (e.g. DENR, EMB, MGB, LGU’s, local community groups, etc.) in securing approval of regulatory requirements and other necessary documents to sustain quarry operationImplements communication strategies per the corporate objectives and plans and serves as the Company’s official spokespersonLeads the sustainability dimensions of mining operationsReviews and approves all property agreements and third-party service level agreements to ensure that proprietary and non-proprietary rights are substantially protectedLeads the project on the disposal of non-essential assets in accordance with the approved disposal scheme of the companyEnsures that asset appraisal of all the company’s properties are updated and maintains relevant documentation.Represents the company in the court or with government offices or any legal body

Requirements:

Graduate of Bachelor of LawsMust be a Philippine Bar Exam PasserAt least 3 years of work experience in handling land registration cases, transfer of rights or titles, forcible entry/unlawful detainer cases including negotiation with informal settlersAt least 3 years of work experience in evaluating and processing technical data pertaining to real property such as, but not limited to, technical research, interpretation of survey plans and trace back/forward of titles or rights and mining permitsProven track record in contract review and negotiationsKnowledgeable with mining laws
