Our Occupational Health Physicians are doctors who specialize in the health issues that arise in the workplace. They are often employed to determine the cause of a work-related injury, decide how serious it appears to be, and assess the job site where the incident occurred.
OH Physician Responsibilities & Requirements:
Graduate of a medical degree from a recognized university.A registered physician with a valid license to practice the profession in the country.Completed the required OHS course for OH physician from a DOLE-accredited institution or organization.Be a Member of Philippine College of Occupational MedicineCompetency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, PowerPointExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.High level work ethics and attitude.OH Physician Responsibilities:
· Directly reports to Boskalis HCRP HSS Manager
· Make monthly reports of medical/accident cases occurred at the workplace or site
· Most comply the company safety management strategies especially the Boskalis NINA Principles.
· All work-related injury must be reported immediately to the Boskalis HSS Manager at once.
· Identifies emerging health & safety issues at workplace.
· Makes recommendations related to medical and health policies and preventative measures for eliminating or minimizing industrial injuries and diseases
Provides advice to project management and employees related to medical program management, public health, pandemic protocols, and health promotion aligned to the organization’s policies and programs.Make daily consultation of workers who got sick and injured. Conduct outpatient consultation to employee’s medical or minor surgical interventions within capacity and makes subsequent referral to a specialist when necessary.
