Billing Analyst

Processes billings for all premiums and other billable items (e.g. membership fees, other riders, medical collectible and corresponding tax) timely and accurately.

Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities

Processes billings for all premium-based accounts. This includes billing of the membership fees, other riders, medical collectible and the corresponding tax.Prepares and monitors schedule of accounts processed to be billed.Prepares credit and debit memos, whichever is applicable, for premium refund and adjustments on billings.Reconciles discrepancies between billings and paymentsCoordinates with concerned departments/regional offices for the resolution of problems related to billings.Makes representation to meetings with brokers/clients for reconciliation and other concerns.Performs other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications:

Graduate of any business course, preferably Accounting but not required. MBA diploma or units an advantage.Experience in related business or other service-oriented company an advantage but not required.Knowledgeable in basic accounting and taxation principles. Must be proficient in Microsoft office (excel, word and powerpoint).
