The Occupational Health Company Nurse is responsible for giving health care support to employees and providing emergency treatment. He/ She helps the management in maintaining a healthy and productive work environment by promoting and engaging in programs that increase awareness in safety, well-being and proper work-home balance. He/ She also helps in assessing the suitability of a person if he can do his normal duties during regular work hours.
Minimum Qualifications/ Experiences:
Candidate must at least be a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Nursing, with PRC LicenceWith at least 2 years experience in related fieldWith OHNAP certificate and BOSH training, an advantageWith sound clinical knowledge (like CPR) and good interpersonal communication skills & abilitiesWilling and capable to work in a shifting schedule.Willing to work in long hoursYour scope of responsibilities include:
Promote safety hazards and precautionary measures in the workplace.Provide emergency treatment to all employees by giving first aid, checking vital signs and dispensing medicine to prevent further complications.Observe and records symptoms and conditions of ailing employeeAccompany and transport the injured employee to the nearest medical service or hospital in case of emergency or accident.In case of a need to call for an ambulance and get the employee admitted into a hospital, briefs the paramedics on the employee's condition and inform what symptoms they have been suffering or if employee has any medical condition.Make a list of basic medicines and first aid supplies the company needs to purchase.Assess employee condition and be aware if they are suffering from allergies or other similar medical conditions so that adequate care is provided.Issue medical clearance and ensures that employees who got sick submit a Fit-To-Work certificate before allowing them to work.Review diagnostic test results and medical certificates submitted by employeesMonitor and maintains inventory of medicines, first-aid equipment/ medical equipment/ devices and other supplies and prepares a monthly report.Organize and coordinate annual medical or physical examinations of the company and assists third part in its implementation.Participate and perform FSSC related tasks such as preparation, update and review of documents and reports during audit.
