Job SummaryThe Account Executive’s role is to provide the Trading team vital information about what is going on in the market in terms of demand and supply and deliver a broad range of company products and services to clients. The role is working closely with the Trading and Logistics to build up relationship with the clients, create new business, prepares proposals and quotations and win contracts for the various industries such as Molasses and Alcohol (95% and 70% Ethyl alcohol).Client AcquisitionExpand the network of AABC by continuously meeting new people and employees in the client companies.Source new clients and relationships by attending user group meetings, conferences and trade exhibitions and deliver company presentationsIdentify and establish contact with potential customers by proactively doing weekly sales/customer relations call.Advertise product sales and deliver a detailed account strategy.Ensure AABC has good margins and expand the range of products and services to achieve high marketability.Facilitate the Business Partner registration of new clients.Prepare the Offer and Confirmation to sell document.Client ManagementMonitor and ensure payments are made on time.Monitor the allocation of items per contract, per client.Assist in collection from clients with overdues and online payments.Gather information from clients and endorse to the Trading team to inform what is happening in the market on a per client basis.Ensure short weights are kept to a minimum level.Create a good relationship with clients by delivering excellent customer service.Establish good rapport with every client to maintain a high percentage of closed deals.Respond to sales inquiries both from new and existing customers.Maintain the company’s contact database with accurate and updated information and activity details.Be aware of the client logistic operations to ensure all deliveries are very well coordinated and provide regular updates regarding delivery schedules.Administrative TasksPerform other tasks requested by the management from time to time.Attend relevant seminars to improve and develop skills.·Contribute to the annual revenue growth by ensuring to hit the annual target quota based on the strategic report.Prepare and submit daily/monthly/quarterly/annual sales report.Closely coordinate with the Logistics, Trading and Accounting departments for the updated pricing or costing.
