Our client based in the US is looking for a highly coordinated E-commerce Manager to oversee the development and utility of the company’s e-commerce platforms to achieve retail growth.
The E-commerce Manager will be required to manage and maintain the company’s Amazon dashboard as well as design, execute and report on campaigns based on which KPI metrics are needed. As an e-commerce manager, you will be required to conduct research on effective website layouts and features, advice on evidence-based and experimental changes to our platforms, and monitor the effectiveness of strategies by inspecting standardized metrics.
This is a contractual, full-time, freelance position with an evaluation period of three (3) months and can be done completely from home with a fast Internet connection and the proper equipment and gear.
QUALIFICATIonSCollege or University graduate of any 4-year courseAt least 2-4 years of proven experience as an E-commerce Manager with expertise in AmazonDemonstrable track record of devising sales-enhancing strategiesSound knowledge of prevailing procedures and techniques in e-commerceExceptional consulting and quality assurance abilitiesSolid knowledge of digital marketing techniques and principlesAbility to tackle the demands of ever-evolving technological implements with easeSolid understanding of SEO concepts preferredIs very tech savvy and has good organizational, analytical, communications skillsHas own laptop or desktop computer and has a stable, fast and reliable internet connection at home capable of doing voice callsExperience working from home, a plus.Willing to work graveyard shifts, US Pacific time zone (Work schedule TBD)Willing to take a pre-employment assessment test (see below)JOB DEscriptION (SCOPE OF WORK)Responsible for managing/maintaining listings of digital marketing platforms primarily Amazon, keeping best practices in mindDevise strategies that harness sales-related insights, prevailing standards, and novel developments to encourage sales on our e-commerce platforms.Create frameworks and work with our Social Media Manager to transform our social media sites into highly profitable platforms.Work with our developer, copywriter, and graphic designers to ensure careful adherence to predetermined strategies.Review the security of checkout pages and payment procedures.Execute a comprehensive playbook of promotions on Amazon and other partner sites (eBay, Walmart, Shopify)Create effective A+ Content and lightning deals on AmazonAnalyze traffic to inform website maintenance and the effectiveness of marketing strategies.Conduct Competitor Analysis, report on performance metrics, analyze data for improvement opportunitiesWork on the improvement of customer experience, analyze website performance and stay up to date with current industry trendsWORK HOURSWork from home.
