In the current external candidate market, we face unprecedented competition for talent. Highly skilled diverse talent is in short supply and demand is high in every global territory. To operate better in these market conditions, we need to build out our LSEG Employee Value Proposition (EVP) and create bespoke value propositions to specifically attract the talent required by our business.

This critical role will lead the employment brand design and evolution to ensure LSEG are upper quartile in brand profile/ attractiveness in our priority markets for target talent. In addition, it will lead our global employee referral scheme and build an LSEG alumni to attract returners.

This role is part of a wider Employment Brand and Attraction Channels team and is an individual contributor.

Key responsibilities:

Set and lead our employer brand design and evolution to ensure we attract the target talent required by our business in key areas and key skillsets.Proactively manage and sustain our brand profile externally in key markets to ensure we are, and continue to be, a desirable employer to target talent.Support the creation of targeted value propositions which are aligned to the overarching EVP yet speak directly to the local talent required in country and by discipline.Create ‘on-brand’ candidate-facing assets which convey our LSEG culture and employee experience.Participate in employer brand research to better understand how LSEG is perceived in different countries by different target talent and use this insight to ensure we are upper quartile in our priority markets for target talent.Track and analyse the effectiveness of different brand campaigns to ensure continuous improvements are identified and acted upon.Evolve and develop the LSEG approach to employee referrals – creating bespoke awareness campaigns to specifically increase volumes of employee referrals.Create ROI measures to demonstrate the effectiveness of employee referrals.Build an LSEG strategy to create an alumni approach which successfully targets and attracts LSEG returners.

Skills, knowledge and capabilities required:

Cross-country, cross-functional experience of building employment brand assets.Experienced in positioning companies as great places to work in order to attract, engage, and hire the most suitably skilled and diverse candidates.Experience of creating EVPs and target value propositions globally.Understanding of how to sell a global company as an employer of choice throughout different countries and within diverse talent groups.Knowledge of alumni and employee referral channels and experience of maximising and leverage such programmes.Good problem-solving, organisational, analytical and critical thinking skillsExcellent communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills with ability to drive achievement of objectives.Ability to interact professionally with all organisational levels and globally.Ability to independently manage competing priorities in a high-volume, fast paced environment.
