JOB OVERVIEW:
The Business Development role is primarily responsible for generating revenue to achieve agreed sales goals/targets (new business and renewal), and building / developing the Agency Leaders together with their teams of independent Financial Planners at the most cost-efficient manner. This position reports directly to the Head of Professional Sales Agencies (PSA).
Key Responsibilities:
Establish sales goals and targets for his/her business unit as a whole and the individual sales teams.Define and/or assess the strategies or action plans to meet the desired sales goals/targets aligned with PSA’s overall business strategy.Develop strategic recruitment and productivity programs that are sustainable and cost effective e.g. training activities, recognition and incentive programs, etc.Enable and equip his/her designated Agency Leaders and Financial Planners to increase their productivity, improve their performance and keep them motivated.Manage operational costs judiciously and implement cost containment measures as needed.Required Competencies:
