The Sales Operations Analyst exists to provide standard reporting and account assignments for Lexis Nexis sales teams and leadership. This position will deal with issues of moderate complexity which require decision making and creative solutions. This position will provide consistency and quality in data and reporting and will create synergies across the Sales Organization. Ensures sufficient training/backup of all departmental processes and responsibilities.
Accountabilities:
Translate strategic plans, sales org and territory designs into physical account assignments and other dependent systems/processesUnderstand the impact that account assignment changes have on business processesAnalyze new accounts coming in on a monthly basis and ensure proper assignment was made minimizing the impact to compensation and sales’ views of accountsReduce stray accounts, duplicate accounts, and straggling accounts/agreementsUnderstand how account assignments flow into various systems and how different tools/systems impact account assignmentsMaintain and deliver standard reports to the sales and segment organizationsQualifications:
Bachelor's degree holder or equivalent experienceWith reporting and analytics backgroundExperience in CRM Tool is a plusAdvanced MS Excel skills and has experience using MS AccessSalesforce experienceAbility to learn new systems/toolsDemonstrates leadership, self-motivated and exhibits time management skills while juggling multiple priorities efficientlyGood communication skillsStrong attention to detailHas reporting or analytics background
