EMAPTA is hiring an Auditor (Night Shift) to support our client in the US!
Position Summary:
The principal focus of this position is to provide operational and financial audits on Company operations, accounting systems and records to determine the effectiveness and efficiency of operations, the reliability of financial reporting, and to ensure compliance.The successful candidates should have significant experience in financial and operational audit.In addition to the above-mentioned, the successful candidate should also expect to carry out, from time to time, basic back-office and administrative and other similar tasks as neededThis position requires availability to work night shiftPosition Responsibilities:
Develop audit plan and audit strategy for financial and operational audits necessary.Regular audit on the company books, accounting process, and controls in place to:Audit on company operations primarily on processes with financial impact.Conduct special audits as requested by management and investigate cases that may arise.Lead and/or provide support to projects assigned especially projects that require audit checks to other teams.Ability to perform Ad Hoc tasks from time to timeCommunicating efficiently with clients and team members through various tools (chat, email, and some voice through google meet as needed). Speaking up and being proactive when things don’t seem right is a mustWork with the team to ensure compliance with all data privacy or data security of client-sensitive information as well as other policies governing client transactions, as well as local (host country) relevant laws.Help promote and support a culture of professionalism and integrity and build good working relationships with clients and colleagues.Provide feedback and insights on how existing processes may be improved.Participate in Employee Engagement activities that would promote the welfare and positive atmosphere for the team.An ability to “speak up” and inform management of ways we can improve or make something better. Either internally or at the client level.An openness to performing Ad-hoc tasks may be assigned from time to time either by the client or by the immediate supervisor/managerExisting access to internet services at home. You will be provided a company computer and internet/power allowance while you are on a temporary WFH StatusRequired Basic Skills:
Must be able to function independently, and hit the ground running.Prior audit experience is requiredExperience in Netsuite is a plus but is not requiredLoan experience (lender GL’s & interest payment calculations) will be nice to haveA strong understanding of basic accounting conceptsExcellent communication skills both speaking and writingPosition Selection Criteria
