General Functions:

Develops and executes the plans for marketing campaigns through drafting reports, creating content or coordinating its production with sales teams for their strategies to succeed. Responsible also for product launches, public relations and communications efforts, setting up displays and designing loyalty programmes.

B.           Specific Functions:

·        Implementation of Trade Development Plans

o  Ensures and closely coordinates the implementation of Trade Development Plan with all the heads of Sales and Operations;

o  Facilitates and ensures appropriate allocations and deployment of POS materials and stocks to the sales team as part of the Trade Development Plan Implementation;

o  Prepares and provides regular updates/reports to the distributor management on the overall status of implementation of Trade Development plans;

o  Gathers and consolidates feedback from the trade by conducting spot checking through regular strategic site/customer visits in line with the requirements stipulated in the Trade Development Plan;

o  Coordinates and provides distributorship Trade Development Plan implementation reports to the Principal;

o  Prepares, consolidates and submits all feedback and monitoring reports to the Principal Official Representative for appropriate action planning and implementation development;

o  Ensures the Principal’s  budget allocations are properly monitored and the same shall be coordinated with the Finance Department (through AP Officer) and Operations Manager;

o  Recommends and initiates local trade promo activities including projects for near expiry products.

·        Sales Reporting and Analysis

o   Provides assistance to the Operations Manager in strengthening the Local Trade channels and preparing customer assessment report consolidation and analysis;

o  Prepares and consolidates regional market intelligence and feedback to evaluate field and key account strategies;          

o  Facilitates monitoring and evaluation of brand and category sales performance in each channel based on set KPIs;

o  Field work (work with at least 15 working days in a month) with Sales Supervisor to validate Trade Development plan executions and the same shall submit updates to the Operations Manager;

o  Conduct weekly meeting with the sales team on the Trade Development Plan execution/ implementations.

·        Agency Coordination

o  Provides close coordination and support to the third party promotions agency in attaining it’s KRA’s;

o  Prepares and establishes job objectives & regular work/contact plan with the Agency’s Coordinators in support to the merchandising & promotional programs of all channels within the assigned territory;

o  Prepares and manages the process of planning, allocating and disposing regional promotional materials and premium items.

E. Required Qualifications

·        Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, or communications

·        Past work experience as a marketing coordinator or similar role

·        Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing

·        Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills

·        Proficiency in full Microsoft Office suite, especially with Excel and PowerPoint

·        Experience working with budgets and forecasting
