Education: BS Accountancy Graduate, Certified Public Accountant
Experience: Minimum 5-10 years’ experience in Financial Accounting or Audit
Job Description:
Manage the day to day corporate and vessel accounting matters.
Responsible for timely and accurate submission of financial reports, analysis and information for statutory compliance, group reporting & senior management reviews
Support the Head of Finance in preparation of year budget and forecast.
Administer, control and verification of existing accounting / reporting / documentary flow procedures and systems and suggest improvements and changes where necessary.
Liaise with Auditors / Tax representative for audit and tax matters and ensure timely completion of audit and submission/payment of tax returns.
Liaise with associated offices ensuring that good working relationships are maintained.
Ensure proper training and development needs of staff are addressed
Stay updated with accounting, banking, taxation and government regulations, policies and statutory rulings.
