The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do soRequired Qualifications:Graduate and Board-passer (one-time take) of any Allied Medical Profession (Nurse, Physical/Occupational/Speech Therapist, Medical Technologist, etc.) with minimum of 1 year of clinical/hospital experienceAAPC or AHIMA Certified or any equivalent coding certificationMinimum of 1 year of experience as a supervisorDemonstrated experience and ability to develop processes and suggest improvements to make more efficient / scalableCoding proficiency (ICD, CPT, etc.)Strong analytical and research skillsExpertise in reading a medical recordComputer proficiency in operating Microsoft Office ApplicationsAbility to learn new and complex computer system applicationsAbility to multitask and prioritizeAbility to communicate effectivelyAbility to make a positive first impression and present a professional appearanceAbility to demonstrate a positive attitude and strong work ethicAbility to offer help to fellow employees whenever possibleAbility to take ownership of problems; ability to demonstrate pride in one's job and the organizationSelf-directed, highly motivated, pleasant, cooperative, assertive yet compassionateAbility to demonstrate a good rapport and work to establish cooperative working relationships with all members of the teamStrong attention to detailPreferred Qualifications: Minimum of 1 year of Medical Coding experienceClaims Processing experience in a BPO/HMO settingPreferably with working internet connection of at least 15 mbps in case of working from home.
