Sleep Technologist - Bonifacio Global City

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Prepares laboratory facilities/equipment and patients for the various tests performed in the laboratory.Gives proper instructions on how to accomplish sleep questionnaire.Prepares patient prior to the beginning of the sleep study, making accommodations that are appropriate to the physical and mental status of the patient.Makes general medical assessment to assess patient's conditionsAfter-care of machine and its accessories after the procedure.Prepares patients for polysomnographic recording by placing the appropriate sensors and confirming signal and integrity.Maintains, calibrates and operates equipment for sleep studies.Label sleep tracings and makes it available for Polysomnographer's interpretation.Scores polysomnographic data.Reviews data collected for accuracy and integrity.Schedules patients for consultation and for sleep study and confirms schedules of patients.Attends the Department's incoming phone calls and inquiries courteously and accurately if within his/her responsibilities or refers them to concerned parties to ensure accurate and proper dissemination of information.Assists patients and Consultants during in-take hours.Encodes correct patient data/information.Ensures correct charging of all transactions of the center.Types accurately laboratory results.Makes necessary coordination with readers/Consultants regarding interpretation of results.Ensures the safekeeping and security of any and all assigned equipment, materials, and supplies.Coordinates with the Service Engineers for the immediate repair of defective materials/equipment.Ensures that established company guidelines and policies are followed in all tasks and activities.Extends support to all Department/Section activities and functions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Candidate must possess at least a Professional License (Passed Board/Bar/Professional License Exam), Medical Science, Nursing, Radiologic Technology, Medical Technology or equivalent.Applicants must be willing to work in Bonifacio Global City,Taguig City.Ok to work in night shift, holidays and weekends.No work experience required.Can start immediately.
