Key Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Corporate Initiatives and Advocacies Division Senior Officer, the successful candidate will be tasked to conduct field work and research on NGCP’s Environmental, Disaster Risk Reduction and Climate Change Adaptation Program. This nationwide Program, which will run from April 2022 to April 2025, covers activities and initiatives such as the Wildlife and Nature Guardians (WINGS), Calamity Affected Relief Efforts (CARE), Biodiversity Conservation (Formerly TREE Project), Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) and Climate Change Adaptation (CCA). He/she will also assist in program development, design thinking, coordination with internal and external parties and administrative work for related assignments. He/she may also be tapped to help in program execution, if necessary
1. Provide expertise and knowledge on planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of
the Environmental, Disaster Risk Reduction and Climate Change Adaptation programs;
2. Liaise with project partners such as NGOs and government agencies as well as with internal
groups for completion of program requirements and deliverables;
3. Ensure efficient and timely implementation of program activities within applicable scope and
timeline and in accordance with corporate goals and directions set by the Department;
4. Provide support in the preparation and review of relevant program documents and reports for
internal and external compliance;
5. Facilitate logistical requirements in the implementation of activities related to the program;
Requirements:
*Graduate of any social science or community development course
*With at least 2-3 years of relevant work experience in the field of social development or CSR
