Import Officer

·        Transacting with BOC (Bureau of Customs), follow up of pending shipments, lifting and trigger of containers and other issues and concern related to the release of shipments through the use of electronic portals.

·        Monitoring incoming shipments. This includes coordination with Suppliers abroad.

·        Act as point person between customs and operations during shipment examinations.

·        Ensures that operating activities is streamlined with Bureau of Customs (BOC) policies and procedures.

·        Maintain, validates and update records in company Google Sheets.

·        Prepare cash requests for the applications of permits and other documents such as but not limited to; SPS, eTrade, eTracc, MAV, TABs etc.  

·        Prepare expense reports related to the release of shipments.

·        Assist with budget preparation and administration.
