Key Deliverables:
Maintaining and growing value-based customer relationships that will make the brand a trusted partner with its chosen customers and will translate into meeting or exceeding annual sales budgets.Generating new leads and profitable business opportunitiesFormulating pricing / negotiate contracts and supply agreementsWorking with customer Product Development personnel to identify new value-added business opportunitiesWorking with sourcing & trading group to provide raw material market information and/or presentations to customersPenetrating customer functional areas inclusive of Product Development/R&D and ProcurementWorking closely with customers to uncover solutions to challenges around formulationsAligning the brand's technical resources with our customers technical groups on a select basisPreparing annual territory strategic plans to execute upon organizational goalsPreparing Account Plans for all key accounts in the territoryMeeting or exceeding financial targetsProviding technical and commercial feedback to customers as neededManaging territory travel and expense vs budgetProviding accurate forecasts for customer needsCustomer Service Support
Working with quality and customer service to help resolve customer complaints and problems as requiredClose interaction with Customer Service to ensure customer expectations are seamlessly metFinance Support
Assisting in the collection of Past Due InvoicesInvestigating invoices against customer PO discrepanciesBusiness development activities to uncover new segments and channelsCollecting market related data as needed Training as requiredProfile
15+ years of direct sales/commercial or account management experience in food/ingredient or a related industry.Experienced in managing direct reports and influencing cross functional stakeholders.Direct sales experience in developing account relationships with strategic customers; demonstrated results in growing business with customers and delivering margin growth.Demonstrated quantitative skills and commercial acumen; ability to quickly learn in a very fast paced business environment.Able to handle a business $50m+ business.Comfortable being an individual contributor.Job Offer
