Financial Accounting Officer

The Financial Accounting Officer maintains financial records (such as ledger accounts). He/She provides financial status information by preparing special reports; completing special projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepares journal entries and updates general ledger and subsidiary ledgers.Performs posting of transactions to the general ledger, accounts receivable and accounts payable module.Tracks and maintains fixed assets by coordinating with central payment and relevant departments.Prepares schedules for reporting assets.Performs monthly reconciliations and schedule for inventory cash, bank balances, expenditure and revenue accounts.Adherence to company code of conduct.Models the resorts’ belief, mission, vision and core valuesAttends personal continuous development interventions / coaching sessions.Attends periodical mandatory training / meeting for compliance purposes (i.e. risk management, health and safety, etc.).Performs other related tasks and duties that may be assigned.Involves traveling to various work sites and locations.May require working on odd hours and weekends.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance / Accountancy / Banking / Business or equivalent.At least two (2) years tax experience in accounting.Excellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent analytical and critical thinking skillsExcellent project management skillsProficiency in office applications (GSuite, MS Office, SAP, OPERA, IPMS, ICRS and Infinitium)SAP hands-on experienceStrong interpersonal skillsAbility to work alone and with a teamAble to build good working relationships and deal with different types of individualWorks and communicate effectively with the teamHas a deep sense of commitment to tasks assigned
