The Accreditation Officer is responsible for auditing the hospital's clinical departments’ activities and processes and their consistency with the standards of the accreditation bodies.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Validates compliance of departments with local and international accreditation standards.
1.1. evaluates compliance of the units/departments with the requirements of the accreditation bodies.
1.2. Communicates with the units/departments on how to best comply with the standards of care as required by the accreditation bodies.
1.3. Conducts regular Internal Quality Survey.
1.4. Verifies consistency of units’/departments' SIP with accreditation body standards.
2. Assists in training staff on the application of local and international accreditation standards to their specific departments/units.
Qualifications:
• Candidate should have experience in Internal Quality Audit, and/or handle accreditation for an institution
• Graduate of any medical or health allied course
• Amenable to full time employment
