Key Task Responsibilities
Technical
Assess the efficiency and performance of the existing broiler farms production facilities operation and process and provide a necessary recommendation.Regularly conduct farm visits and evaluate farm equipment and program and align with the company’s standards.Conduct timely pre-placement and brooding compliance audit to ensure the optimal environment is provided for the flocks.Must ensure Farms/Sections follow the correct procedures, policies and documentation requirementsProvide direction and technical expertise in design, process improvement and development, data analysis, information/monitoring, and ventilation parameters and adjustmentsAble to make quick decisions and solve technical problemsMust provide technical training about successful broiler management practices to growers when required and serve as a technical mentor to team membersResponsible for providing technical information and advising broiler farms on the importance of biosecurity programs and their related processes.Guide the growers and technical team of the farm on disease identification and early preventive methods for the prevention of diseases and controls.Management
Attend Department Weekly MeetingAttend and present reports in the monthly Production MeetingEnsure standard operating procedures and project guidelines are in placeTask allocation and performance evaluation of team membersProject scheduling and resource managementPerform other duties or functions that will be assigned by the superior.Coordinate and provide feedback to other departments (AHG, OES, Purchasing, Feedmill, Dressing Plant, Internal Farms and Hatchery)Identify resource and equipment requirementsOversee performance and help farm managers achieve target KPI and job objectivesQualifications:
Graduate of Animal Science/husbandry, Agricultural engineering or related courseComputer literateDemonstrates quality leadershipFlexibleSelf motivatedWith at least 2 years practical experience in the poultry industryHas driver license and can drive 4-wheels
